Database Error

We have only just been give the bad news that our database cannot be restored. The Innodb tables have been damaged beyond repair. Our database was being backed up by our hosting company and we are in talks with them to try and find out what has gone so seriously wrong with our backup database. We genuinely believed that our data had been backed up to the hilt.

The newest physical backup that we ourselves have is from 3rd December 2010. All user data after this  date has been lost, this includes: stats, user details, subscriptions paid and websites added. We offer our sincerest apologies for this.

The good news is that the vast majority of you have faith in us and we have only had three customers cancel the service. If you have not already re-signed up for the service then please do so and we will credit your account with one month free license on top of the license time left remaining on your account as of March 6th 2011.

What are we doing to ensure that this can never happen again?

We are taking weekly back-ups of our current database ourselves.

Daily back-ups will be done via an outside company www.ceejay.net who are based in the UK, if your data is critical then you may wish to have a look at ceejay.net.

Once again we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
